Robins sing throughout winter. Even in cities the loudness of their song penetrates the air. I find their lilting, flowing, pausing, song quite sad. But it is also outstandingly sweet and pretty. We are lucky to have their beautiful song so readily heard in our gardens, woods, parks and farms.
